The JetCat-P1000-PRO offers maximum integration for EASY installation. All necessary peripheral systems necessary for operation are fully under the front fairing of the turbine. built in. No further external peripheral devices such as ECU, valves or ignition system are required. Therefore, in addition to the supply battery, the tank and some external control signals no further external subsystems required! All control signals are transmitted on a cable with 15-pin SUB-D connector. Power is supplied via a second cable with XT60 connector for direct battery connection. (other connector types available on request)

JetCat-PRO Engines Functions - Integrated Engine-Sided Components:

  • ECU (Electronic Control Unit): Fully programmable via a detachable Ground Support Unit (GSU), allowing for easy configuration and adjustments.
  • Brushless Starter & Seal-Free Brushless Fuel Pump: High power, efficient brushless systems reduce wear and improve reliability.

  • Voltage-Controlled Power Management: The engine/ECU can be turned on or off via a voltage control signal, removing the need for external power switches.
  • Engine Safety Shutdown Input: A flight termination system ensures the engine can be instantly shut down. This system kills the power to the fuel pump, closes the solenoid valves, and stops the engine through multiple redundant safeguards, while allowing the ECU to remain powered for continued data reporting and engine cooldown.
  • Comprehensive Monitoring: All currents and voltages (e.g., supply voltage, pump driving voltage) are continuously monitored, along with vital engine life parameters and setpoints, to provide a detailed operational overview.
